How much a medical biller will make depends partially on what part of the country you are located in and the amount of experience you have. If you are just starting out and in school you have to do an internship where you are not compensated for your time but are learning by working on actual accounts. Once you graduate you can expect to earn about $15 per hour. For people with experience or who move into management or supervisory rolls the salary is around $18 – $24 per hour. These salaries are based on the southeast section of the country if you were in New York or California you can expect the salaries to be higher.
