How much do holstein cows cost?
It will depend on where you get a holstein and what they will be used for. If you just go to the sales barn or auction to buy a calf to raise, it could cost about 100 to 600 dollars. If you buy a cow, they could be anywhere from 600-2000 dollars, maybe more or less. I have always bought calves from sales barns or dairy farms. If you are going to show it, the cow will probably be worth more than if you are buying it for milk or meat.
