How much do hair stylists earn?
THere is no set wage for hair stylist. Some places start you off with hourly pay until you start gaining clients. Once you are more established, you will get a commission from every service you do. So, it isn’t a matter of working harder to earn more money. It is how you work. You should work smarter to earn more money. You do this during a consultation and suggesting service’s your client may need. I would ONLY do this if you truly do feel they need it otherwise they may feel you are just trying to increase the price of their service and will stop going to you. I wish you well if you do choose to enter this field. btw: Do not forget to factor in tips. You’d be surprise how much you make in tips alone.
