How much do giant house rabbits cost to take care of?
There’s not much in the way of vet bills unless they have complications when they’re older, or when you’re wanting to get them spayed/neutered. I spend probably around 15/month on hay, food, and bedding on my Californian, and the occassional 5 or 7 dollar treats or toys. I imagine you’ll spend a bit more on food than me, but Californian’s aren’t exactly tiny. 🙂 There’s also cost for setup of whatever cage/bed/hutch it will have, water bottle, and food bowl. That’s about it. Congrats!
