How much do blue tongue skinks usually go for?
It’s hard to find breeders of blue tongues for some reason. I have a friend who breeds them on a pretty large basis, but he’s all out until the spring. They usually go for $65 to $100 from breeders. I’ve seen them at Petsmart for $200, but I don’t recommend pet stores. I personally recommend a northern blue tongue. They are the largest and tamest. Also, northerns are from Australia and will be captive bred since they don’t allow the exportation of their wildlife.
