How much do artists profit from having their art works sold in an art auction?
Depends on cost of materials and labor and market conditions and popularity if the art like me i make jewelry if it cost $300 in materials took me a few hours and the buyers were looking for that type i would expect to make 2-3 times the cost of making if no one wants that kind of stuff and offered 20 dollars i would be out of biz the next day actually i would not waste my time making it unless it was for me to wear :}
