The election was a referendum against Bush, not for Obama. In the Democrat primary though, Obama successfully played the race card against Hillary Clinton.

If Obama’s ethnicity really mattered then i guess we would have already seen several colored President’s before him. Many blame black people for overwhelmingly voting for Obama because he is black,well i think that’s not true because blacks have always voted for democrats.

Obama’s ethnicity should have had no part to play in his election to the Presidency. Only his intellect…his qualifications…capabilities… and his prestigious and polished style…could have been responsible for his selection and election success.
