How much danger is there from wild animals?
Very little. While there are wolves, grizzly and black bears, and mountain lions in most of the areas we go to, they rarely pose any kind of threat, and it s very uncommon to even see them. We keep an extremely clean camp to remove any kind of attraction for them. If you are on a hunting trip, there is a higher chance of seeing these animals as you are doing more to stay quiet and in moving into wind. Also you are in the woods at the times these animals are more active. However the odds of a dangerous encounter are still small.
