How much damage will bleach cause my hair?
I will agree with the other person, if you have strong thick hair you will have less chance of it causing real damage although if you have allergies it could be a bit daunting to go using bleach on your scalp. I used to be a hairdresser i recently put some bleach in my own hair i have dark hair too so i have to leave it on my hair longer, but bleach does dry out the hair and can damage the hair too, if it gets over lapped aswell when doing the roots it can cause the hair to break. you see bleach strips away the natural pigments of the hair, if you have light coloured hair you will find bleach doesnt have to be left on long, if you have dark hair the bleach strips your colour but can leave you with a brassy colour not blonde more gold in colour, i suggest if you really want to try bleach on your hair before going ahead and having the whole of your style done then do a strand test.
