I would not restrict his fluids at all. A child is easily dehydrated. If it is a concern you might stop giving him fluids about 30 minutes before bedtime but otherwise, give him what has been a normal amount of fluid up to this point. You are a concerned parent and this question just shows that you are wise enough to seek advice. I would suggest that perhaps you go to the library and check out a book on potty training. I know that millions of parents go through this without reading a book but you seem to be searching for more knowledge, which is a good thing. Just a thought…..
