How much credit will i get if its my first time applying for a credit card?

I know all too well about questions like this, since I have to manually approve or deny applications for credit and credit line increases. If you don’t have any credit, it’s very likely that you will start out with a low limit, like $2-500, depending on the credit card company. If you want to have the best chance at getting approved for a credit card, my suggestion would be a secured credit card. Like the name says, a “secured” card requires a deposit which is used as collateral to match the credit line. For example, if you deposit $300, your credit line would be $300, and so on. The deposit is held until you can demostrate consistent on time payments, then it’s given back and a regular card is issued out.
