How much compost should I take off the root ball when I re-pot into Seramis?

Do not take any soil off the root ball except what falls away naturally. If you shake it or scrape the compost away from the root ball you risk damaging the root hairs at the tips of the main roots and these are the only part of the root system that can take up food and water.
