Generally you need about 2-3′. Some manufacturers advice 5+’ It is important to be sure the inflatables aren’t going to slide around or make contact with anything which can cause damage or injury. This goes for the clearance on top of the unit as well. It is a bad idea to have the moonwalk touching any limbs on trees as they can fall and puncture the unit or hurt one of the riders. All bounce houses, moonwalks, and slides require an area clear of tree branches and power lines. Also, please be sure to clear larger debris from the ground prior to delivery. Rake away leaves, dog piles, large rocks, etc.
