How much Chem. needed for Dermatology?

0

FYI, you have to go to med school to become a dermatologist. There’s no way around that. What you should really be asking is, how many years of chemistry is required to get into Medical School. It’s something like 1 year general chem and 1 year organic chem with the labs and a semester of biochem. It might be different for different med schools. Dermatology is a serious business; ppl come to you with all sorts of skin problems, some that may be indicative of life threatening diseases. Don’t take it lightly, they do more than just look at acne. It’s a great field to get in to because of the lifestyle but it’s really hard to get into because many med students want to get into that–but only the top ones get in.
