How much ceiling clearance is required?

With a T5 fluorescent system, you’ll need 9″ from the room-side surface of the modular ceiling grid to the hard ceiling deck or lowest obstacle directly above the SkyCeiling. This distance will accommodate the Luminous SkyTile Elevator, the Luminous SkyTile, and the lighting troffer and its wiring. With the EcoSlim LED lighting system you will need only 4″ of clearance.
