How much CC should my first motorcycle be?
Option 1) Get as big a bike as you can afford. Don’t spend money on protective gear like a jacket, pants, gloves, helmet, etc. spend it all on a wickedly fast bike. Wear bright colors (shorts or jeans, t-shirt, sneakers) and get your friends to video you while you ride it as fast as you can. Try wheelies as well by reving the engine up and droping the clutch. Scream loudly when you wipe out and slide along the pavement at 80mph for 300ft till you hit something solid like a car or telephone pole. Have your friends posthumously post the video on you-tube for the amusement of others. Option 2) Watch motorcycle racing on TV and see how they crash at 80mph and get up and walk away. Notice they are wearing body armor and full protective suits. Imagine what it would feel like to sit on your hands and have someone drag you 100ft across the pavement by your legs. Jeans wear through in a slide of 3-5ft. Spend $180-300 on a decent abrasion resistant pair of motorcycle pants with armor. $250-400 o
