How much can we write in the addtional info sections?
You can write anything you want. You can also send any supplements you want in addition to the sections on the application, and a supplement can be as simple as a sheet of paper on which you’ve explained your gap year or what you do in one of your extracurriculars. It’s worth remembering, though, that it’s probably not advantageous to totally deluge them with information — you want to give them all the information they need to make a decision, but you don’t want to give them so much information that they have to wade through it themselves. An application needs to be a concise summary of you, not an encyclopedia of your entire life.
