Most part-time jobs are minimum wage jobs like shop assistant, helper at fast-food joints, bars and department store, cleaner, waiter/waitress and clerical jobs. Rates of pay for casual work for students range from A$ 6 to A$ 10 per hour. Please note that the income you earn from part-time jobs may not be sufficient for your living expenses.
