Some therapists make upward of $100-150,000 a year, but these are usually the elite who might also own a clinic or be in a mangement position. My best estimate of the HIGHEST salary a PT who is STRICTLY involved in patient care and carries advanced post-graduate certifications would be in the ballpark of $80,000 …on average, however, most PTs are earning somewhere between $50-70,000 a year.
