How much CalC should I drink a day?
The recommended daily intake for calcium varies by age. For children 1-3 years old, the recommended daily intake level is 500 mg. This would equal about one 8 oz. serving of CalC each day. For anyone 8 years and older, you need between 800-1,300 mg. of calcium daily, or about 2 servings of CalC per day. For those drinking 2 servings per day, we recommend drinking one serving in the morning and one later in the day. This will maximize the amount of calcium your body absorbs. Your body’s maximum ability to absorb calcium is in 500 mg. doses, and one 8 oz. serving of CalC gives you 450mg of calcium.
