How much breast milk were you pumping after a week and a half?

Right now (at a week and 1/2 postpartum) I am able to pump about 3 oz per breast. What I do to get the most milk each time is to massage the breasts to get the milk flowing. Also, if I use a manual pump I will hold down on the lever and just let the milk keep flowing out. If you have a clear nozzle, it is easier to see the milk spraying into the bottle. If you use an automatic pump, put the speed on the lowest setting and the suction at the highest. That will get the most milk out per pump, and cause less irritation to your nipples.
