How much bigger can I buy a pair of running shoes before its too big?
First of all wearing bigger shoes can create blister problem because wearing bigger socks means wearing cotton socks which means moisture is absorbed which causes friction which causes blisters. If you try the shoes on at the end of the day or after a long run wearing your running socks and the distance of the big toe is your thumb width away from the end then it is alright to get them but wearing bigger shoes in my opinion can only create problems. Besides while are they having a clearance sale on them. Are there any defects? If I wore bigger shoes they just don’t feel right and I feel as if my foot was going to come out of them. Others may give you a different response but I always raced my best when the shoes fit right.
