How much better is Battle now than last year?
It’s night and day. I don’t know if he made a basket in the first four games last year. He went 0-11. Now, he has a calmness to him. He has confidence, the same with Jamelle. Talor has really played well. I think he’s 9-11 or something. That’s pretty good. Free throws wasn’t as good, but he had eight defensive rebounds too. That’s what we’re trying to harp on with Talor and Stanley about rebounding the ball to start the break. He’s done a great job with that too. He didn’t turn the ball over and had three assists. I don’t know how you have a better line. He didn’t shoot the first nine minutes. That’s a credit to him. He doesn’t have to come and start shooting to affect the game. He has a calmness to him. He’s a very good player. Q: What makes Battle so effective out on the court? A: He knows how to play. I think he’s playing with a lot of confidence. He can make shots. He can go by people. He can create for others. He’s a scoring point guard. He’s what we’re hoping he would be. Life is
