How much beef is in a quarter, half, whole?

0

Our beef quarters are approximately 60-80 pounds, halves are approximately 120-160 pounds and wholes are approximately 240-320 pounds. The actual size of these items depends greatly on the size of the animal that was butchered and how much muscle mass they had. We send them in between 800lbs and 1200lbs. It is hard to determine exactly what the finished weight will be after the beef is processed.
