How much bandwidth do I need in order to use Quia?
Quia strives to work well with as little bandwidth as possible. However, for optimal performance, we recommend that you allow 30-80 Kbps (kilobits per second) of bandwidth for each simultaneous Quia user at your site. To determine how much unused bandwidth is currently available to you, you can use the following bandwidth test tool: http://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/ Note that this tool determines how much bandwidth is available at the current time, and does not account for how others at your site may use the Internet at various times during the day. Therefore, you should always check with your network administrator to determine the amount of bandwidth you can expect to be available during a given time period.
