HOW MUCH AREA WILL X-100 DECK FINISH COVER?
On new pressure treated decking a gallon of X-100 New Deck Finish will cover 300 square feet. On old, seasoned, or weathered decking a gallon of X-100 New Deck Finish will cover 200 SF depending on the porosity of the surface. For best results the X-100 Deck Finish System should be applied to dry wood. Do not apply if rain is forecast during the next 36 hours. HOW DO YOU APPLY X-100 NEW DECK FINISH? Apply X-100 Pre Finish and New Deck Finish with a brush, long handled staining pad or a low pressure sprayer. Work the product vigorously into the decking. Do not allow New Deck Finish to puddle. Do NOT apply this product with a roller!! Apply as much X-100 Deck Finish as the wood will absorb to reach a uniform appearance. Please note that the same piece of wood will absorb differently in certain areas. Keep a wet edge to avoid lap marks.
