How much are UST fees?
Pursuant to KAR 42:200, fees for USTs are $30 per tank per year for every year the tank was in the ground (regardless of operating condition) after July 1, 1990 (unless the tank was permanently closed-in-place according to 401 KAR 42:060(E) or 401 KAR 42:080).After the fees have been paid in full for a fiscal year, a certificate of notification/letter of receipt is issued by the UST Branch. This certificate is to be posted in the place of business to show current compliance with administrative fee requirements.
