How much are the lawyers getting paid?
Class Counsel will apply to the Court for awards of reasonable attorneys’ fees and expenses and Class Representative’s compensation to be paid by the Defendant. The attorneys’ fees, expenses and compensation for the Class Representatives will be paid over and above the benefits Class Members are entitled to receive. In other words, the value of the Gift Card(s) you may receive will not be reduced as a result of paying the attorneys’ fees and expenses or for compensating the Class Representatives. The Defendant will pay each Class Representative $1,000 for services on behalf of the Settlement Class. The attorneys’ fees and expense applications to the Court for each dealership included in this settlement will not exceed: • $304,725 for the Reliable Chevrolet, Inc. portion of the Settlement • $176,325 for the Reliable Automotive, Inc. portion of the Settlement • $106,950 for the Reliable Imports and RV, Inc. portion of the Settlement • $162,000 for the Van Chevrolet-Cadillac , Inc.
