How much are school meals and when should they paid for ?
School meals cost £1.90 per a day. Prior to the end of each half-term, a letter will be sent out to parents with the costs for the next period as well as details of any credits/debits. They can either paid in advance for a half-term or if you prefer, they can be paid at the beginning of each week. If you are paying for the half-term, then send a cheque with your child on the first school day of the half term. Mrs Rutherford sends details of costings before each half term. Cheques should be made payable to Northumberland County Council. Remember to adjust the total required by the amount of any credits or debits depending on children missing any days or extra days not originally planned for.
