How much are members of the Assembly paid?
Participation in the work of the Assembly is a voluntary activity. The Assembly has a grant to allow Community Stakeholder members who attend the Assembly in an unpaid voluntary capacity to claim out of pocket expenses and an allowance of £60 for each day’s work undertaken. Local Authority members receive no payment from the Assembly but can claim their expenses from the Assembly. Key elected office-bearers receive special responsibility allowances.
