How much are matinee and regular movie tickets in Las Vegas?
At most theaters, expect to pay $8 for regular and anywhere from $5 to $6 for matinee. There are some theaters in Vegas that are cheaper. There is the Tropicana Cinema on Tropicana Ave east of Eastern St. that shows a little bit older movies that has regular tickets for $4. They also have a drink and popcorn deal where you get a drink, popcorn and a movie ticket for $8. There is also the drive-in theater up close to the Fiesta Casino in Northwest Las Vegas that charges $6 a person for seeing a new movie in one of the few remaining drive-in theaters in the area. Then there is the theaters at the local county libraries and at UNLV that show movies for free. They are usually older movies but you never know when they are going to show a good one.
