How much approx. does it cost per square foot to add a bedroom to a house?
I live in Texas and we currently live in a 3 bedroom home and have a 3rd child on the way. We are looking to possibly add a fourth average size bedroom. To do this, we will have to turn the second bedroom closet into a hallway, and add a closet to that room beside where the new closet will be for the fourth bedroom. Does cost per square foot usually include the outside brick and tying the roof in (all that stuff)?? It depends on how elaborate you want to go. Your best bet is to draw up some sketches for what you want done. It would be very helpful if you had a copy of the plan for your existing house.
