How much and how fast is internet from verizon wireless?
If you are talking about going wireless, like a cell modem, I think I was getting about 160 kbps. If you are talking about wired connection, and you can get FIOS, definitely get it. You will be blown away (and yes I do work for Verizon, but not the internet or wireless division). It is not in my area yet, and I am chomping at the bit to get it. People that have it, love it. If you are using DSL now and want to switch to Verizon, it may or may not help. Some factors are your current wiring and how close you are to the CO. If the Verizon CO is closer then your current ISP you can get faster surfing. But if it is the wiring in your house that is causing noise in the line, then switching to a new ISP will not increase the speed as much. If you are using dial up modem, switching may not make much of a difference unless you switch to DSL or FIOS. BTW.
