How much ambient light will there be? Will the rest of the room be in total darkness?
The room will be as close to dark as we can safely and practically make it. There will be some windows on the upper tier of the ballroom that we will not be able to close, but last year they did not severely impact the competition. As far as a number of ambient lumens, I’m afraid I’ve never measured it. I don’t know that a number would be all that useful anyhow.
