How might energy conservation help slow global warming?how much?

Get the facts — you’ll realize there’s nothing you can do about the warming of the earth. As history dictates, the earth goes through cycles, some warmer than others and some cooler than others. Maybe it’s attributed to the elliptical orbit around the sun? The idea that we somehow destroyed the earth and are all going to die (or kill our offspring/great-offspring) if we don’t somehow change our ways is a ridiculous claim, considering the size of earth and our atmosphere. The environmental movement has been brainwashed by shotty science and false claims — and it just so happens that those making the ridiculous claims are in fact the ones making millions of dollars. As long as they keep pushing their agenda, which happens a selfish endeavor to capitalize on an idea that hadn’t been proven before they released “An Inconvenient [Movie]”, they’ll continue to make money. Al Gore is the biggest hypocrite — as are most feelgood environmental bleeding heart goons. They’ll sit around sipping

When you conserve energy, you’re not using as much of the fuels that harm the atmosphere as you normally would. How much would depend on how many people are conserving. One person conserving will not have as much of an impact as a million people conserving.
