So far the research has yielded 313 total during casual play; 6 by Tour professionals and 301 by amateurs. The last one recorded was on December 2, 2010 by Daniel Hathaway from Lubbock, Texas. He scored his double eagle on The Rawls Course at Texas Tech on the par-5, 562 yard 18th hole. He used a driver 1-metal off the tee and a 5-iron from 198 yards out to bag his bird.
