HOW MANY YEARS WILL A MOTORCYCLE DEALER CARRY PARTS?
I can still get parts for a 45 harley if I look hard enough. Dealers are not the end all of bike parts. In fact, their prices are often over inflated. You will be able to get bike parts for most bikes for many many decades unless it is some obscure brand, and even then, there are always collectors. Parts are not the issue, knowing what to do with them is. How many harley dealerships out there in this day and age of electronics do you think there are that have mechanics that know what to do with magnetos, Points etc. Parts you can find, people that know what to do with the parts will be the issue.
