How many years to become a physical therapist?
Becoming a physical therapist requires a four year undergraduate degree and 2-3 years to earn your master’s or doctorate degree. Course work will include biology, chemistry, physics and specialized courses like bio-mechanics, neuroanatomy, human growth and development, manifestations of disease, exam techniques, and therapeutic procedures. You must pass national and state licensing exams and continuing education classes and workshops will be required to retain your license.
