How many years of statistical data can agenTels built-in database hold?

0

By default agenTel 6.0 uses its own built-in (free of charge) light weight version of SQL Server 2000, called MSDE(Microsoft Database Engine). The max. size of this is 2 GB. AgenTel 6.0 uses the database extensively, and with the limit of 2 GB (on MSDE), this means that if you have a system that has: • 200 contacts / day >> the database will be full after +- 5 years • 500 contacts / day >> the database will be full after +- 2 years To avoid this, Voxtron urges you to install agenTel 6.0 on a real licensed version of SQL Server 2005 standard (that you buy yourself). SQL Server 2005 standard has no limit on the size of the database.
