How many years is the medical school including pre med in the United States?
Responses: • Usually 4 years undergraduate then 4 years medical school, then more years of residency • The only thing I have to add to the first answer is that after you’re done, you might make a good salary, but nearly everyone also has HUGE student loans to pay off, too • 8 years, 4 years bachelor degree, 4 years med school • “Pre – med” is not a requirement for medical school, but you will need 4 years of college and a degree. Then 4 years of medical school. Then 3 – 8 years of residency depending on what area of medicine you want to practice in. Then you make the big bucks. Good luck – residency is brutal • After 4 years of high school, there are 7 more years to go to become a resident. 4 – college 3 – med school 1 – resident then medical boards.
