How many years before an avocado tree produces fruit?
Keep in mind that when planted from seed you may actually get something that might not possibly fruit at all…or the fruit could be of poor quality. Planting from seed is a bit hit and miss, you dont necessarily end up with the same qualities from the parent tree. Try growing roses from seeds from your favourite bush and you will see what I mean. Your best off finding the same cultivar and planting it if you want the same result but having said that there is nothing like growing something from seed and seeing what it becomes.
