How many years are typically required to complete the Undergraduate degree? Graduate program?
The course program is able to be finished in four years if you choose not to co-op or you choose to co-op only one summer. Most students complete the program in five years because they choose to complete three to four quarters of co-op, which is highly recommended in terms of job placement. If your heart is set on graduate or professional school, a co-op is not necessarily needed, but you may want to consider extra time to complete any extra prerequisite coursework, undergraduate research or volunteer work that you may need or want to take advantage of as an undergraduate. A typical masters degree takes two years, however, with our combined BS/MS program you can complete it in one additional year after you complete your BS if your schedule permits.
