How many years are MSD property owners expected to pay the MSD property tax?
Since the total cost of the conversion process is unknown the town cannot project how long the town will need to levy and collect the MSD property tax. Town staff proposes that the MSD property tax rate be capped at 10ยข per $100 property valuation. Once the costs are totally recovered the MSD will be abolished.
