How many wrecks are there in the Maltese islands ?
Plenty, and scattered all round the Island. In fact we not only have many wrecks where to dive but we also classify them in two groups, the “Historical wrecks” that were sunk during years of conflict, mostly WWII, while the second group of wrecks falls under the category of “Artificial Reefs” which are wrecks that have been scuttled specifically for divers as an added attraction to diving industry in the Maltese Islands.
