How many words does a typical suspense novel have?
There’s no right or wrong answer to this. There’s no minimum or maximum number of words for any novel of any genre or type. A typical suspense novel can have anywhere from 5 to 5 trillion words. I suppose a publisher wouldn’t be caught dead publishing a book that’s only 5 words long, but that’s up to the publisher’s discretion, there’s no set limit.
