How many weed smokers are there here ?
To put a number on it would be difficult. But, the reality of the situation is that marijuana smokers mimic society in general. In society, we exist as everything from doctors and judges to janitors and maids to criminals and everything else in between; even some of politicians and presidents admit to using marijuana. The problem is that the media only concentrates on the most sensational aspect of marijuana use. Couple that with the fact that most people aren’t going to admit they’re users in fear of losing their jobs. I believe about 5% of this nation admits to smoking marijuana. I think that’s a conservative number. If it were legalized tomorrow, I’d imagine that number would skyrocket to 15% and that would still be a conservative estimate. I would easily go as high as 25-30% of the United States smokes marijuana regularly with 70-80% of this nation trying it at least once.
