How many voyages did Christopher Columbus make to the New World?
Christopher Columbus made four voyages to the New World between 1492 and 1504. On the First Voyage, he took 3 ships and “discovered” the Americas. On the Second Voyage he sailed with 17 ships and established a colony on Hispaniola (today Haiti and the Dominican Republic). On his Third Voyage, he sailed with 6 ships and discovered Trinidad and South America. On his Fourth Voyaged or “High Voyage” he sailed with 4 ships and crossed the Atlantic in 21 days.
