Over 35,000 volunteers perform some sort of volunteer service through The Salvation Army in the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Such activities as bell ringing at a kettle site during Christmas season, serving a hot meal at a homeless shelter, mentoring to a family struggling with finances, helping to sort and distribute slightly used warm coats to children… the list goes on and on of ways volunteers serve.
