How many valves and what type of valve can be installed in an Intelligent Valve Pack?
The standard valve that is installed in the IVP’s is a 4/3-way solenoid spool valve – we can install 16 of these in a single valve pack. The valves we use are made by Wandfluh and are available with flow rates from 8lpm to 60lpm. We also can install 4/2-way solenoid spool valves. We have the ability to install four proportional solenoid valves (which we feel are superior to servo valves in most subsea applications) with flow rates from 8lpm to 60lpm. We can also install proportional pressure and proportional flow regulating valves, pressure transducers, flow sensors, externally adjustable pressure relief valves and externally adjustable manual throttle valves. Almost all of the IVP’s that we manufacture are custom designed to the customers specifications. So, please do contact the factory with your requirements.
