PwCs LKE application was designed to be scaleable to support thousands of concurrent users. Our standard infrastructure configuration is designed to support in excess of 100 concurrent users for each client. 3. Describe the system architecture. PwCs LKE system is a three-tiered architecture. The tiers are divided into presentation, services and data storage. The presentation tier is a web server and presents pages for display as well as managing SSL encryption. The services tier is primarily built around J2EE Application Server working in tandem with distributed processing and Crystal Enterprise reporting services. The data storage tier is an Oracle RDBMS.
